some backstory:
josh was a distant cousin of mine i met in Israel. 
he was my best friend here for the majority of my first 3 years. 
the happiest guy you'd ever meet. 
so full of life and happy. 
really someone i could talk to about anything and he never judged me.
he's a major part of why there was a scene for sm4sh in jerusalem. 
we met up every thursday and he'd always bring me like a kilo of candy from the marketplace to cheer me up from my shitty week working at a terrible job, and we'd play smash with a few other regulars till like 5 a.m. on friday mornings. 
unfortunately he took his life. i couldn't really play music or smash or anything for a really long time afterward. everything seemed muted.
this was the first song that came out.
joshie, this ones' for you. i miss you every day.
