This is just about as good as it gets in my opinion. I am very familiar with this song, both the B.B. King version and the Robben Ford version, I used to play the Robben Ford version back when I was still in a band (20 years ago). You took his arrangement and made it your own. Charles M. Mailer's authentic, partly autobiographical songs are true to life and act in the middle of everydays human coexistence and confusion. Influences of blues, soul, country, jazz, rock and rhythm and blues as well as personal experience of almost 40 years as a musician are unmistakable and form their own creative mix of styles, that Mailer itself calls Blu:Soul or Rhythm Soul.

Some pieces are made in collaboration with the award-winning American writer and poet Blue Freida W. Gantt from South Carolina, who has contributed the lyrics for this.

In April 2012, Charles M. Mailer founded the Sunhill Palace Band during a session at the legendary "Omnibus" Würzburg. The Band is a lineup of top-class live and studio musicians, which is compiled individually to assist in major concerts and events. Thereby a varied menu of own songs  and handpicked " pearls " of the blues history is served. Particular attention comes to the solo skills of the band members , what makes their concerts a special experience .
