My first song written with my dad. It was inspired by our musical heroes, Billie Eilish and Finneas. We love them and wanted to write a song in their style.

A song about my happy place, which puts a smile on my face and makes me want to dance :) It starts off like a Billie Eilish song ('Everything I wanted') but then turns into an upbeat dance number.

Happy To Be Happy

A chance encounter turns into a long term friendship. Interestingly (and not by accident), the notes that make up the melody in the verses are C A F E.

Cafe

Born in 2013, Evie Sommer is a young singer who is learning to play piano and craft songs from her home on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Austraila. Musically, she is influenced as much by modern pop as she is from classic rockers and singer songwriters. Her playlist has Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber and Avril Lavigne, sitting alongside Billy Joel, The Dear Hunter and Queen.

Evie and her dad, Paul Sommer began writing songs together during Covid lockdown in January 2021, resulting in her first single release Find My Way, at the tender age of seven. The pair continue to tap into their mutual affection for power pop influenced melodies and hooks, and have a string of future releases planned. This is only the beginning!
