They thinking that it’s healing them
But in reality it’s killing them

And to stop shooting up heroin deep inside your veins
But at that point I already knew that nothing would change

You see the problem is that people think that Gods is evil
We blame God for the problems that we create as people
We've got a choice between life and death and we choose the needle

I wrote this in the wee hours, blind drunk in a small apartment atop a pub in London. Finished the lyrics on the train to St Albans and recorded it in a warehouse back in Sydney with a 1920’s broken down piano. Some songs will always take you back to a particular moment, a familiar face and sometimes an inevitable goodbye. Because we’ll always have London.
