Our money’s on summer 2010 being a vintage year for live British dance music. Sure, the old guard such as Leftfield, Underworld, Way Out West, and Orbital will be picking up the headlines for their return to the festival circuit, but in terms of new blood, look no further than techno duo, Spektre.

Hailing from Sheffield - no stranger itself to successful man/machine syntheses - the pairing of ‘Filthy’ Rich and Paul Maddox is part of a new breed of rave-inspired, intelligent dance music young bucks.

They took the Glade festival and SW4 crowds by storm in 2009, having already travelled the UK, South American, US and European gig circuits packing out venues with their distinctive brand of exceptionally danceable electronic body music.

Release-wise, their productions and remixes for the likes of Fever Ray, Lionrock, Future Sound Of London, and many more, have afforded them plenty of plaudits from blogs and techno’s aristocracy (Sven Vath, Ritchie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, and Dubfire are all fans).

‘Casting Shadows Without Light’ is an astonishing debut album. CD 1 is a mixture of vocal electronica, spoken word samples, sci-fi audio steals, and instrumentals, as the 13 tracks veer from noisy epics and ether-soaked techno torch songs, to ambient interludes and an atmospheric drum n bass closer. And when it comes to a delicate use of melody, Spektre exude more warmth and beauty in 16 bars than a thousand indie troubadours ever will.

CD2 brings together a selection of extended mixes from the album, each in a longer form with a nod to the band’s dancefloor origins.

Submarine Vibes proudly presents its 54th release, by two Swiss producers, Ioanis and Don Son. 
The release is composed out of two original tracks, New Earth and Eve, as well as remixes from Armen Miran and Parallells. 

After Ioanis and Don Son released several releases on USA labels Magician On Duty and Making You Dance Records, we're happy to welcome these two quality artists on Submarine Vibes. They bring us two deep and melodic tracks full of ethno sounds and sampled speech.

The first remix is coming from Armen Miran, USA based producer and DJ, who is well-known for his releases on labels such as Sol Selectas, Time Has Changed Records and Underyourskin Records, as well as his collaborations with artists like Hraach, Love over Entropy, Fake Mood, Amentia. 
Armen takes us on a melodic journey, combining his oriental style with the vocals from the original track - New Earth. 
Another remix is done by Netherlands duo, Parallells. They bring us a funky and groovy remix of the track Eve.

Submarine Vibes proudly presents its new release - a debut EP by an immensely talented Indian producer Rayomand.

Untold Stories consists of six compelling tracks that combine mystic sounds of the East with warm and deep melodies and beats.

Born in 1989, Rayomand spent his childhood learning western classical piano, violin, and music theory for his formal music education. During his adolescent years, he taught himself to play the guitar, further widening his palette of genres and sounds. 

Rayomand believes that music is the best way to express emotions. His own unique sound can best be described as lush melodies peppered with eclectic yet groovy beats. Rayomand strives to keep his sound and vibe organic and create a visceral atmosphere in his production and DJ sets.
