Battling this voice in my head.

If you listen to the lyrics of this song, you'll hear it isn't exactly the happiest song of all time. Although it describes very dark and lonely moments, it isn't about that eventually. It's about finding inner strength somehow, even if all hope seems lost. It's about saying "No, I'm never gonna give up", even if there seems to be no way out. It's about resilience and survival instinct.

I added this picture of myself smiling. It's taken during the same period I wrote this song and it's not a fake smile. It's a reminder that happy moments won't disappear for good, even though some periods contain way less of these moments than others and therefore it's harder to really experience and acknowledge them. But if you ask me, as long as these moments exist - even for less than 0,01% - there is hope 🌞
