Freq444 are two Brussels based cousins who found a common love for electronic music. 

After individual musical wanderings in Saint Petersburg, Seoul, Paris and Amsterdam, Laurens and Alex, who grew up a stone's throw from each other, found themselves confined in their small Belgian village. 

As a dj/producer duo they travel the lines between bass music, breaks and IDM while not shying away from showing the heavy influence they got early on from jungle and dubstep. With tension-heavy dj sets and absorbing live performances, any setting is fair game.

DJ and Producer, always in the imagination, halfway between
worlds. If its name is esoteric, its expression translates
in machinery.
He made his big leap as a DJ in Shanghai. While skimming the
Chinese coast, from B2B in shopping center basements to
festivals perched in a pagoda, he is a resident of Deep Roll Suzhou
for two years.
Bathing in this underground scene will always feed this spirit
experimental and rebellious.
On his return to France, he brings back in his luggage this energy
to join the Montpellier scene, and becomes a resident
of the Pinata Radio.
Following a first appearance on a VA of Sengiley Records, his
first EP Running Out (Les Disques du Lobby) released in June 2023
is accompanied by a live project. Since then, he roams the places friends of
his overheated deconstructed station wagons, which will guide him, among other things, from
Rinse France to the Macadam of Nantes.
Through its semi-analog cockpit, it explores the energies
syncopations revolving around ghetto tech, acid and
jungle.

Catalina

As a Romania-via-London transplant, Catalina has been taking steady leaps in the
Brussels electronic music scene. A regular on the airwaves of Bruzz and Kiosk
Radio, she’s made a name for herself by exploring the chemistry between
deconstructed weighty, percussive tempos and aquatic melodies, all the while
borrowing elements from her musical beginnings in the UK. Her textured and
uplifting sets are almost extraterrestrial, teleporting the dancefloors further into the
stratosphere and beyond with a colourful mutation of leftfield electro, breaks and
house.

Breaxx Radio 004 - Catalina

Vera Moro (she/they) is a queer Brussels-based DJ and performer. Her performances are her chosen means of self-expression, combining music, dance, and attention to makeup, and clothes. She presents a wide range of music genres, from slower-paced 130 bpm hardhouse and acid, to 150 hardgroove, with a particular interest for nineties or nineties inspired trance. 
Born and raised in Verona, Italy, Vera moved at an early age to Chile, before settling permanently in Brussels. These experiences strongly influenced her music tastes that expand from pop, rap or reggaeton to jazz, electro, and techno. Her will is to express her musical past cohesively through uniting different music styles in her sets. Vera Moro is very active in the blossoming Brussels’ queer scene, and particularly interested in collaborating with queer organisations all over Europe. Creating a queerer, safer space in the nightlife is one of the main goals of her artistic expression.

London-based producer Cicada Ensemble creates detail-oriented electronica that layers airy breaks, weighty subs and intricate sound design. His debut EP - Murmuration Clip - came out this year on Aleksandir's label Artesian Sounds. It features a remix from Solar Body head - Otik, and has received support from the likes of Avalon Emerson, Bambounou and John Digweed. As a DJ, he is known for exploratory sets at his South London audio-visual club night - Hive - blending all flavours of experimental-leaning rave music.

Coming from two very different cultural and musical backgrounds, Kairos
and Safé’s friendship since 2020 quickly resulted in the creation of their
event line Umtzi Bumtzi. Starting in the rooftops of Ghent playing records in
Kairos’s old apartment overlooking the canals, the two found common
ground on their obsessions with music and selection.
Born and raised in Ypres and now based in Ghent, Kairos has been offering
euphoric sets and eclectic track selections for some years in his city’s top
venues and beyond. Playing Funke, Chinastraat and amigo amigo as well
as Onder Stroom in Antwerp and Bonnefooi in Brussels, his reach
continues to extend throughout Belgium with his versatile mixes of UK Bass
and breaks with harmonic electronica and house.
On the other hand, Safé has been living in Brussels for the past 6 years,
having moved from San Diego where he is originally from. With a
background digging for left field techno of the ‘00s and ‘10s, his first alias
‘Dress’ was the result of years of producing and later on playing C12 and
Kiosk Radio. With two experimental, almost beatless albums out under that
name, Safé was created to satisfy his love for a more whimsical mixing
style, weaving between genres with abstract rhythms and fuzzy sound
design.
Together, the two have shared decks around the country. With a residency
at We Are Various Radio in Antwerp and a list of collective hosted events,
they invite other artists to showcase who they think is exciting.

L4U is a familiar fixture of Liège’s nightlife. She, through her work as co-founder of the queer collective @transpedegouines and as promoter of “Who’s That Girl” her own female DJ only party concept, has taken part in making the night, queer.
Navigating between LGBTQIA+/alternative spaces and more mainstream hip-hop events, L4U likes to blend genres and always tries to explore new sounds to create eclectic, technical but dynamic sets. Her unconditional love for old school RnB and recent Soundcloud digging obsession has led her to build an ever-expanding collection of the best breakbeat, reggaeton, baile funk and sometimes high bpm reworks of your favorite 2000’s hits.

Leese, based in Brussels, is a music producer who started her electronic music project in July 2020. Her music mixes rhythmic and organic elements, creating a vibe that's both deep and danceable, drawing from the world of Bass Music.

Her music is a blend of various musical influences, moving across underground electronic genres to more traditional styles, which become evident in her artistic process. With her innovative and bold approach, Leese continues to explore new musical territories, offering an engaging listening experience to her audience.
