Bridgerton Scoring Competition (Music Only)

A song tune I wrote almost two years ago. Nothing like my current style, but my lyricist, Ingrid Schwartz, dug it out of a folder of old, mostly never-finished songs and asked if she could have a go at it.  I dusted it off a little (not much) and handed it over to her.  I liked the lyrics and the guide-vocal track she came back with, so I sent it along to Abby Strickland who sings this kind of thing for me.  Atman Sheth did the mix and master as always.     I had a blast with this one - it's been too long since I threw everything imaginable at an arrangement, and it's a lot of fun to orchestrate with a pedal steel, a dobro, a horn section, a choir, and hand claps,  all in the same song... :)  Okay, I've got that out of my system. The three I'm writing now are all back to a more minimalist approach, but every once in a while, I allow myself one like this as a treat.
