This is from a work in progress.  There is a female vocal part plus some period percussion in the final piece, which is going to my mastering engineer tonight. I'll post that when it's ready, but in the meantime, I'm quite happy with this setting, and wanted to share it, as is.  Note that the modern flute (not the recorders) is playing what will be a harmony to the vocals starting in the second verse, and an "improvisation-like" line (which was very common in the period) in the following chorus.

The newest one from my team. As always, Ingrid Schwartz wrote the lyrics. Kesha Parish handled the final vocals in her first project with the team. Again Atman Sheth did the mixing and mastering. I wrote the tune and played the instruments, and again, cover art by Christina Carter.

Bridgerton Scoring Competition (Music Only)

A song tune I wrote almost two years ago. Nothing like my current style, but my lyricist, Ingrid Schwartz, dug it out of a folder of old, mostly never-finished songs and asked if she could have a go at it.  I dusted it off a little (not much) and handed it over to her.  I liked the lyrics and the guide-vocal track she came back with, so I sent it along to Abby Strickland who sings this kind of thing for me.  Atman Sheth did the mix and master as always. Slip Out Of View

    I had a blast with this one - it's been too long since I threw everything imaginable at an arrangement, and it's a lot of fun to orchestrate with a pedal steel, a dobro, a horn section, a choir, and hand claps,  all in the same song... :)  Okay, I've got that out of my system. The three I'm writing now are all back to a more minimalist approach, but every once in a while, I allow myself one like this as a treat.
