This orchestral work is based in the latin palindromic sentence: "In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni". Its title means "Torch" in Galician language and it's an interpretation of the previous latin sentence.
It uses harmonies coming from the planetarium systems Kepler-11 and Kepler-186, which also appears horizontally and not only vertically. Its form respond to the palindromic nature of the latin sentence and the slowly elimination of its principal motifs to the end. Also, this piece present some textures on the woodwind and string sections that recreate the character of the torch.

This record is a mixture from the live recording of its premiere night and its second performance by the CSMB orchestra in Badajoz (Extremadura, Spain) (23rd of January, 2025) and Villanueva de la Serena (Extremadura, Spain) (24th of January, 2025).
It was conducted by Juan Pablo Valencia.

Engineers coined the term “unobtainium” to describe a material with impossible, ideal qualities, something that defies existence yet feels essential. With this track, Willdabeast and Viskus
channel that concept into sound: an otherworldly blend of deep bass, dubstep, drum & bass, jazz, dub, and fusion that feels all-at-once unachievable and undeniable.

“The track evolved out of thin air,” says Nick Krauskoff, aka Viskus. “After sending Will a skeletal idea, we reshaped it through weeks of back-and-forth until it became something neither of us could have created alone.”
From brass fanfares and woodwinds to massive synths and precision basslines, Unobtainium is the culmination of months of thorough layering, mixing, and reworking. The result: a symphonic deep bass journey that departs from both artists’ usual styles while still pulling listeners fully into
their shared universe.


Willdabeast (Will Glazier & Dan de Lisle) set along the U.S/Canada border in WA, are known for their explosive brass-driven electronic performances, weaving live trumpet, trombone, and flute into heavy-hitting bass music. With past releases on Gravitas Recordings, Westwood Recordings, Super Best Records and Muti Music, plus collaborations alongside Pretty Lights’ Michal Menert, GRiZ, Defunk, and Late Night Radio (just to name a few), they’ve carved out a reputation as pioneers of live/electronic fusion.

Viskus, based in Oklahoma City, is a rising force in bass music. With releases on Circus Records, Wakaan, Morflo, Drama Club Recordings, Aspire Higher, and Spicy Bois Collective (just to name a few), his catalog spans collaborations with Xenotype, TYNAN, Ravenscoon, Superfuture, Mousai, and more. Adding Unobtainium to the “Viskography” marks his first release on Grand Alliance Music, a milestone moment for both artist and label.


In 2025, the duo first crossed paths creatively on Fondue Forest, a playful yet immersive cut that showcased their chemistry. With Unobtainium, they’ve raised the stakes, leaning deeper into symphonic brass and heavyweight bass to craft a track that feels both impossible and inevitable. If Fondue Forest was the appetizer, Unobtainium is the full-course experience. By adding this rich, introspective track to both the Willdabeast canon and the Viskus discography, Unobtainium becomes more than just another single: it’s a monumental collaboration, a fusion of styles that shouldn’t work, yet somehow does.
