This song is about a relationship that felt real, but wound up not being real, leaving questions without answers, with a sense of reality that was no longer considered reality. It's about regaining what once made you whole, as you then felt like an empty soul, like a walking corpse that was completely dead inside, but still alive on the outside. It's about a battle only you can see, fight, feel, understand. While friends, family and potential partners, don't fully understand or comprehend the constant battle and demons inside you. My goal in this song, is to get others to better understand what people go through in the inside, as it's a constant battle. That what you see on the outside, isn't always how someone really feels, even if they hide their emotions through a smile on their face. Also for those who battled the same things I did or had similar experiences, One of those other goals is to motivate them, letting them know they're not alone, that we can get through it and heal together. Regain our ability to get back up on our feet, stronger and better than ever before :)
