Return To Normality?

A poem describing a typical morning at Earlsfield Foodbank but also commenting on the need for such foodbanks. To set the mood I have underscored the poem using Bach's Adagio BWV 974 with added church organ to create a feeling of being in the church where the foodbank operates.

A homage to the sixties. Exploring the image we have of the sixties . Conflicting vibes: the Hippy concept of love solving everything but with revolution in the air and the assassination of the Kennedy brothers and Martin Luther King - not so easy. Music defined much of this.

The Covid Lock-down Blues

My tribute to Keith Emerson. This is not written in his style but has a lot of influences from the early seventies. There are, however a couple of ELP references in there! The piece is in five sections (plus a prologue) which all run together:

Spring Onions

I am a freelance sound operator working in television. I play a bit of piano and write the occasional bit of music. A classically trained piano player I fell in love with the rock music of the 1970s. Particular favourites are ELP, Focus and Pink Floyd. I am currently working on a tribute to Keith Emerson called "Rondo Requiem".
