When it’s sizzling and crackling, we are on tiptoeing pathes. Home-grown minimal boy FLO PIRKE is responsible for as usual.music No. 009, and it was about time for that! After a few tracks and remixes on other labels, this is his first very own EP. The „Wheezy’n Dozzy EP“ comes up with two originals and a remix from an ambitious great artist from Spain: ENZO LEEP.

„Wheezy“ and „Dozzy“ are the interplay of contemporary stripped-off deeptech and minimalhouse tracks and getting the balance with smartly arranged subs and drum patterns. The wheezy one grumbles and fizzles along the way on intricated rhythms and shapes a moody and spheric condition, until the capsule gets cracked. „Dozzy“ does it rather light-footed: a funky trip arises with easy shakin percussions and well-implemented effects, which gives an ideal drive for moving feet.

On the „Same Roots“, Enzo Leep adds exactly that vocal for „Wheezy“ into his mix and demonstrates that it’s meant what it’s said. His music has been locked into our hearts by these warm and subtle reduced sounds with releases on labels like Get Physical, Moan, Tip Tap Rec., Baile Musik, Bla Bla or his own Rewire Musik. And that’s exactly what he does here. The bass is so comfy to melt down straight away, paired with these detailed snitchy sounds and the moving snar’ish break, a gorgeous remix will conquer the floors.

'Yulia Niko joins with Enzo Leep to release a resonating house single entitled ‘Nobusan’ on her new Libe Vibe imprint including remixes from Rich NxT, Matheiu, Giorgio Maulini and Saktu.
Russian-born DJ, producer and label owner, Yulia Niko learned her trade in the clubs of her hometown before moving to the US to work as a resident DJ at Verboten, Brooklyn and Heart in Miami. Now based in Berlin, Yulia runs a vinyl only label Tochno Tochno where she holds a release alongside outings on labels such as Get Physical, Hottrax, Heisenberg and Natura Vida. Enzo Leep is an exciting artist from Seville who maintains a busy gig schedule playing at clubs all over Europe, as well as releasing music on labels such as Kindisch, Hossh Records, Dub Collective Records. ‘Nobusan’ sees the pair collaborate on Yulia Niko’s new label, Libe Vibe, following the inaugural release from August Artier.
Fuse resident Rich NxT provides a stripped-back remix of ‘Nobusan’ blending bubbling grooves, shuffling percussion and a stabbing acid line before Matheiu’s Analog Juice remix delivers pulsating low-end and deep rhythms together forming a minimal aesthetic.
Venezuela’s Giorgio Maulini who has releases on Plant 74, Kindisch and Voltaire Music offers up a slick remix employing alleviating pads, bumping basslines and spacey aesthetics until Heisenberg and Itech Sound System founder Saktu effortlessly fuses weaving synth licks, evolving rhythms and eccentric melodies. The original of ‘Nobusan’ then rounds off proceedings with uplifting leads, scattered tribal drums and crisp resonance.'
