Emerging Artist Kourokumura has arrived from the low-key underground territory of Soundcloud and is making his step on to the major platforms which can feel like playing in College and then transitioning to the Pros. From being the right hand man for heavy rhyme spitter and streaming monster woodsordeath who recently passed away earlier this year. Kourokumura makes his first offering with “ARIGATO”


ARIGATO blends Rap, R&B, and Trap as Kourokumura navigates his way through his artistry with help from frequent collaborator Rhyan Besco. Quarantine Talk reveals what life was like for all of us just a year ago Kourokumura boldly states “I really feel like I have nobody sometimes, I try to shake the feeling, but I don’t feel like I’m lying”. On Nikes Kourokumura displays lyricism on top of a catchy-bounce heavy hook, he states “I know People that don’t think that I’ll ever make it —-But they gotta face it.” Rendezvous introduces us to a brighter side of Kourokumura as he starts rapping over more club friendly sounds “Different locations all night, pull up shawty I don’t wanna fight” he says in a more subtle way than previous songs. Another stand out track from the project “sweet darling” which Kourokumura enlists the help from not only Rhyan Besco but show stealing production duo ALLYOURS. The chorus is a steamy, vibrant, and sensual sing along making it an instant heavy hitter. The EP wraps up with Cheesecake, but the magical moment comes from Shit To Prove. Kourokumura, woodsordeath, & Rhyan Besco put on a clinic each taking their time and delivering fiery, well crafted verses. Being the last verse woodsordeath (Jacob) recorded before passing he left no doubt that there was so much more to be done. Kourokumura has now entered the chat and his project “ARIGATO” is a hell of a turn in.
