My hippie-pessimist-psycadelic song. Most interestingly to me, it was written from start to finish in about 30 minutes. That means the words you hear are the first ones I thought of. Normally, they would get changed and polished quite a bit. But I liked these ones and its very fresh. Some phrases and thoughts have deeper meanings that must come from a place unknown.

Wrote this one in 30 minutes, an ode to the other half - can we be the one they want us to be? Lots of backwards tracks one by my 15 year old son Isaac on piano.

A song to sing yourself to sleep with; and a proclamation of the gospel. In 2 parts hense the title. Survived the resurrection of my computer, and took a couple of months to complete. "Wall of love" courtesy of Phil Spector's "Wall of sound".

Wall of love

A song about realising that "we should all number our days" life here is very short and eternity is very long. Done in a psychedelic way and also written just after the death of bowie, maybe he is in there somewhere.

When I'm gone I'm gone

An intimate look at the heart, all its foibles, and the cure. Took more time over this one, made sure my guitars were in tune etc. Now I can add as many drum tracks as I like!

My attempt at early 60's pop-rock with ska overtones. written in 2004, recorded in 2015 and further overdubs of guitar and voice December 2020. About a real person I knew from Florida, but don't tell anyone.
