GAY PRIDE DRAG QUEEN MASH UP DJ SET

Hey there Soundcloud World. This is my first post ever so be gentle. I discovered the bouncy groove of "We Got Work To Do" from the musical "Firebringer" yesterday from a meme. I was instantly hooked. I wanted the hear the intro on a loop. Thanks to YouTube, I found that a 10 minute loop of the intro exists AND has 95k views on it, so obviously I wasn't the only one. Well, I made this mix on my spare time for my own listening pleasure and thought I'd share it with you.

Missy Elliot's vocal are actually from an Instagram video she posted on August 1st 2018. She's actually yelling at her little dog who is playing with a dollar bill. My immediate thought was, "Someone needs to remix those vocals. This would be FIRE!"

I came across this video and the meme within the same day and it worked so perfectly that this remix came out in less than 24 hrs. Needless to say, listening to Missy call me a "THIEF" over and over again while mixing this made me chuckle because I did, indeed, steal her vocals. I know she loves her fellow artists though so I hope she doesn't mind.

I don't make these very often so any advice on how to make this better are truly welcome. Thanks for listening.
