Pretty Girl

We wrote this song in January of 2019. We started recording, scrapped it, and started over three times until we got it to where it needs to be. Musically, the song was written as a dancy crossover between folk and pop rock, fusing together an acoustic guitar and a country-esque drum beat with heavy ethereal synths and distorted guitars. Lyrically, the song is psychedelic and dreamlike in nature, reflecting the surreal sensation of being trapped in an illusion of your own design.
