Sylvester Precious Essuman Acquah (Weldone Africa) is a Ghanaian artist raised in Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. Coming from a family of music lovers, Weldone realized his music ambitions as a youngin and believes in being a real proponent of good music.

LIFE AND CAREER BEGINNINGS

Weldone was born and raised in Cape Coast and is the second of three children. He attended Montessori Junior High School and proceeded to Edinaman Senior High where he offered a Business course. 

Weldone began his music as a student, participating in cyphers, rap battles and stage performances while in Edinaman. Back in senior high school, he won some awards like the best rapper, best hip hop artist, and best hip hop song. 

With inspiration from his elder brother, Weldone Africa professionally appeared on the music scene in 2017. Due to his versatility, he is a rapper and a singer who has got some great works to his credit, collaborating with some artists in his region such as Kwacy the Singer, Neujay, Wagez Rap, Kojo Vypa, and KayKronic 

As an artist, he believes that you have to be working always because breakthrough doesn't come with you being lazy.
