Jake Flint - Jake Flint - 08 - His Daughter (For Kinley)

Jake Flint was born in 1985 and raised in an oilfield boom town in Oklahoma. The son of a wildcat oilman and a mother of two. They moved to Tulsa where he was always an outcast country kid in the city. His father raised him on Folk music various Texas singer/songwriters such as Guy Clark, Van Zandt, Earle, Prine and others. He shadowed his 3 year older sister and got a hefty dose of 90's grunge Rock and whatever else he heard coming from sis’s room. 

His father was diagnosed with A.L.S. or Lou Gherig's Disease and was not able to physically provide for his son so he commissioned a couple of his best friends to teach him guitar. 

Jake floated through life experience, writing about it all.

He wrote and recorded his first record, appropriately titled "I'm Not OK" which he recorded in the Boohatch Studio with Mike McClure released in 2016. Recorded a live album “Live and Not OK at Cain’s Ballroom” released in December 2018 and has a new Self Titled album to release in February 2020.
