Born in Sri Lanka, Janaka a.k.a “Jayy Vibes” is undoubtably one of the finest artists in the country. Jayy vibes boosted up his career in electronic music since 1998, ever since then he was influenced by the classic late and early 90’s producers and DJ’s both international and local who had pure commitment for the love of music.

In 1998  Jayy Vibes bought himself some equipment to learn the skill of being a disc jockey. He sooner realized through his passionate practice and relentless hours he would use to spin the decks that the energy he creates is worth sharing.

In 2008, Jayy Vibes signed up Club Zanziba; one of the most happening clubs of the time making his mark. further more in the industry, Jayy Vibes had not only earned the quality of his talent but also many hearts out there who have immense respect to the artist. 
Few years on he was invited to join club Amuseum in the year 2009 as the resident DJ and going on in his third successful year at the club.

Today Jayy Vibes has also been featured in some of the most talked about events of the industry and played alongside some of the well known international Dj's. Guy.J,Nick Warren,Cid Inc,Khen,Paul Thomas,
Avicii,Marco V and many more.

Most importantly today, Jayy Vibes passion has led himself to reach great heights of his career. This talent is not only loved by the locals but over the years he has earned amazing loyal fans globally of his work. I have been fascinated by electronic music since I was 6 years old. Initially, I was enchanted by the sound of the world-famous Hungarian Yonderboi. After that, listening to the music of my father's all-time favourite DJ and producer Peter Makto was a great musical experience, which still defines my musical sound today

When the sun sets, the Luno rises 🌙 

As just that happened one life-altering night in Mainz, Germany Chris entered a new cosmos called the “rave” and never walked out on it since. Feeling the urge to support the scene, Luno held residences in the Netherlands, while studying the subject of Media Management meticulously. This led him to be picked up by the illustrious duo Tube & Berger and their labels Kittball and ZEHN Records. This is where he quickly began to level up his own production skills and DJ game. 

In 2019, Chris started his YouTube mix series and was able to pick up a hefty amount of 70 million views since then. A collaboration with deep house legends Tube & Berger followed, as well as international gigs, for example at the UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul, Turkey in 2023. Meanwhile, Chris is a full time touring artist and has played at prestigious venues all over the world including Phonique, Mexico City, Ulu Cliffhouse, Bali, Carbon, Hong-Kong, The Garrison, Montreal, Sage Beach, Berlin and many more.

His own productions received industry support by the likes of Diplo, Gorgon City, Nora en Pure, Claptone and summed up more than 8 million Spotify streams up to date. Furthermore, his music can be found on labels such as Anjunadeep, This Never Happened and Purified Records.
