Mozart's first string quartet, written in a tavern in Lodi near Milano, Italy. Originally a three movement piece. Lateron, Mozart, who himself loved the work dearly, added a French Rondeau as final movement.
Performed by Solingen String quartet, Heiko Schmitz and Almuth wiesemann violins, Ursula Rinne viola and Peter Lamprecht violoncello. Part of our CD "Fiori musicali".
