Norwegian-Algerian DJ-producer Karima F delivers a stunning self-titled debut EP on her label Schloss - an imprint she runs out of a disused Porsche repair shop. 

Ahead of its release on February 1, Karima F has offered up the first single on the three-track 12", 'Random Loop From Doepfer Site' - a track driven by voluminous breaks and bubbling synth compositions that give way to something more ethereal.

After PINK and RED comes ORANGE. It’s the third out of seven records for the celebrations of the 50th Uncanny Valley release. And it’s tailor-made for pure dance floor delight.

Sweden’s Jor-El aka Joel Alter spells out house music on HUMAN MATRIX with great effect. You can't resist being dragged along by a track that is well composed down to the last tiny little detail, but always comes across light and easy. Synth stabs for the masses. Uncanny Valley-Newcomer Karima F from Oslo delivers FLACCID HOUSE, a track that feels like the perfect way to make ravers resurrect. The track is based on few, but effectively used ingredients like a hammering broken beat and those odd vocal bits. Thus, it gets to the point without detours.

Being a scene-legend himself, Toronto's Basic Soul Unit contributes GROTTO BOUNCE, a raw but precise nod to classic Detroit and Acid tunes. Finally, former Hamburger and now Berliner Christopher Rau is in full play mode and turns on all the equipment in the studio for PARADIJS, a wonky house track that gives you goose bumps even though he may be throwing you out of step.

Parisian producer Cosmonection’s latest offering is one of those releases that's infectious from the first listen and perfect for the dance floor. Titled Venezia, this three track EP delivers two hard-hitting originals, along with a remix courtesy from London duo and BB favorites, Wayward. "Venezia" leads the way with lush keys, 303 and glistening horns while "Radiant" dives a little deeper with high-end flourishes weaving in and out of melodic keys. Basic Moves continue their mission to showcase the forgotten corners of electronic music from their home country of Belgium. Making his return to the label for the third time, and the twelfth label release, is Sebastian S. under his Caustic 14 moniker, this time with a batch of exclusive tracks produced between 1993 and 1996. His textural sound shines brightly over the six tracks; a healthy mix of crisp breaks, jungle drum workouts and bleepy electro. To quote the label "these compositions emerged during many sleepless nights spent watching videos of science fiction series such as Babylon 5 or Star Trek, scrutinising each episode while composing. Behind these six pieces are six keywords that have a story: BWP, PK, Network, D-jacking Zone Elypsia, Planet-E and Brussels! Another fantastic release from Basic Moves showcasing the rich history of Belgium.

Two years after the drop of his latest solo effort, 'Strangers', Budapest cross-dimensional vibes trader Imre Kiss clocks in on Dalmata Daniel with the eagerly awaited followup to his widescreen, sci-fi ready sonic adventures. Here again, the Hungarian producer - who's made a name for himself through discerning blends of kosmische-infused nostalgia and uplifting emotional apexes, takes us off to a world of sense-awakening wonders and hidden alien treasures, well supported in his quest by Den Haag's legend Intergalactic Gary, up on the flip with a heat-seeking belter of a remix.


Written during a tour across Japan, the title-track 'Oimachi' breaks things in on a punchy yet immersively emotional note, flexing out the blunt Casio arpeggios and muscular bass leads for what results in a soul-whelming, wildly enjoyable trip away from the gridlocked 4/4 paradigm. The further jagged and wonky 'Whipromance' extrudes a weirdo-friendly piece of stretchin' electronics from its squelchy gangue of acid subs and straightforward drumwork, all set against a refreshingly contemplative dawn of pastel-brushed pads and ample beat-free sequences that shall leave weary dancers in a daze.


Flip sides and here comes 'Soft Obsession' - a fine-tuned assembly of organic envelopes, plurally sourced sample library and that idiosyncratic sense of otherworldliness the name of Imre Kiss has become synonymous with. Opening the sunroof onto a luxuriantly arranged and incredibly deep forest of rhythmic folds and textures, this is the very kind of track to send you off to the zone on a one-way trip. Rounding off the journey in true Moebius-esque fashion, Intergalactic Gary lets his unmatched jockey know-how do the talk through a mind-expanding finisher that'll be sure to please both the lovers of stadium-sized epics and all-night-long chock-a-block sweatbox action.
