The Hundred Syllable Mantra Of Vajrasattva

Vajrasattva means "diamond being" or "vajra-being". Its character is as strong as a vajra. By practicing his Dharma, the follower can avoid all evil thoughts, eliminate vexations and have unlimited happiness and wisdom. More info below...

 He is usually represented seated on a lotus posture. He wears a crown in which there is often an image of Akshobhya, and the dress and ornaments of Dhyani-Buddhisattva. Against his breast, he generally holds vajra in his right hand; but the vajra may be balanced on its point in the palm of his hand. With the left, he holds the ghanta on his hip. If standing, he balances the vajra in his right hand against his breast, while in the left, hanging pendent, he presses the ghanta against leg. Unlike the other Dhyan-Boddhas, he is always crowned with or without his sakti whom he presses against his breast in the yab-yum attitude, with the right hand holding vajra, while the left holds the ghanta on his hip.

Vajrasattva (Do-rje sems-dpa’) practice is a tantric meditation done for the purification of karma. As a Mahayana practice, it is undertaken with a bodhichitta aim to purify all our karma in order to reach enlightenment as quickly as possible in order to be best able to help all limited beings (sentient beings). 

The meaning of the hundred syllable mantra of vajrasattva is a prayer which invokes the mindstreams of the Buddhas.

Dzambhala or Jambhala (Dzambala, Zambala or Jambala) is the God of Wealth and appropriately a member of the Jewel Family. In Hindu mythology, Jambhala is known as Kubera.

Jambhala is also believed to be an emanation of Avalokitesvara or Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. There are five different wealth Jambhala, each has their own practice and mantra to help eliminate poverty and create financial stability.

Gyalten Sogdzin Rinpoche said that Jambhala is the protector of all Lineages and of all sentient beings from all sickness and difficulties.

Jambhala is a Bodhisattva of material and spiritual wealth as well as many other things, especially of granting financial stability. ”Because in this world, there are all kinds of wrathful and negative emotions or bad spirits, and sometimes they will harm you and other sentient beings, Dzambhala must take on such a wrathful and powerful form to protect us from these harmful spirits and negative karma.

Especially, Dzambhala helps us minimize or decrease all misfortunes and obstacles and helps us increase all good fortune and happiness.
