Space Medicine is the practice of Deep Organic Music on astronauts in outer space. Tremulant is the application of science and technology to the prevention or control of exposure to the hazards that may cause space wanderers ill health. Tremulant works to ensure that people in space work in a safe environment while experiencing the freshest sounds from planet Earth.

Located in the woods just below the 49th parallel, amongst the toweriouglas Fir on sacred Semiahmoo ancestral lands, Sloth draws inspiration
from the magical air, water and earth around them to craft a sound for the
urban club environment.  With intention of connecting people together, to
themselves and to the earth.   Sloth searches for sounds that bring
healing and intimacy,  It was the defiant love of the brave gay black and
brown house scene that resonated with Sloth.  Connecting this music with
their own experience and the sounds of humanity the world over.   It's
time to claim our birthright as one Human family.

Here is my opening set from the Outerlimits Festival at The Great Northern SF, over Memorial Day weekend 2023.

So... Time for a confession. I've been DJing in San Francisco for a good while now, and over the years, thanks to the support and encouragement of many many friends within the electronic music and Burning Man communities, I've had the opportunity to play at least once almost everywhere in the city that I've ever wanted to. But there was always one stage that kept eluding me. The main room at The Great Northern (and at Mighty prior to that) was my great white buffalo. 🦬

This past May, thanks to the homies in the Icarus crew, I finally hit that milestone! It was such a joy to finally get into that booth and take that huge custom Void system for a nice little workout! Jessica, Torie, Ilya, Noam, thank you SO FREAKING MUCH for this opportunity ❤️ #mantrance

1. How Did Corona change your artist life?

It changed a lot because I lost the main source of income from one day to the other. Besides the financial aspect, I really miss sharing music with other people on a big sound system and have the community spirit of a typical club night or day.
There are also some benefits like enough sleep, lots of sports and more time on the weekends for friends and family. I enjoy working in the studio every day and have a lot of upcoming music in the pipeline, e.g. a collaboration with Steve Bug and magic Black Soda for the 50-anniversary record of my label Rotary Cocktail Recordings. At the moment I try to refresh my programming skills and learn VST developing (plug-ins for audio processing) because I have a lot of ideas for new useful tools in the studio.

2. Where did you record the mix and how did you feel?

I recorded the mix at home and I enjoyed it a lot because there is so much new amazing music out there. It's really sad that we can't dance together at a club or open air.
Sometimes I had goosebumps because of some really emotional songs. In these moments I´m not the DJ but the biggest fan of the track and dance like nobody is watching.

3. What are your wishes for the time after Corona?

First of all, I hope there will be no second wave of the virus during the winter months. So many clubs and artists would have to give up and it would damage our scene for years. I wish that all clubs & festivals can survive and hopefully, we can continue our culture like before corona. What we don't need is the superstar DJ stuff with crazy amounts of fees, private jets, and where social media is more important than music. Bye-bye Instagram DJs.
