 SHEDTEN from Jacksonville Florida, unfortunately they have long since disbanded but they wanted the memory of this band to live on, to enjoy there music and learn what they were about. They formed in 1994 when they were known as Sovereign with Michael and Byron the founding members past members include Dave Maudlin: guitar Jason Kursbach: guitar Eugene Smith :bass , guitar Jeff Hunt : guitar most recent line up consisted of Michael Boyce :vocals Byron Spinks: drums Brad Spinks: bass guitar Aaron Hanson: guitar Scott Wilburn: guitar they progressed into the scene as one of the pioneers of Christians in the hard core music scene , back in the late 90's after the emergence of Shedten , bands such as Evergreen Terrace and so many others have sprouted in Jacksonville . This was a time during the opening of Murray Hill theater , Jacksonville's premier club showcasing local Christian bands and other heavy and mainstream acts such as living sacrifice, P.O.D. Norma Jean , Project 86 and many more.. unfortunately the time must come when all bands break up , but they hope you enjoy this slice of music history you never know one day they may return!!
