This Aanno Nekka "Northern Style Round Dance" song was inspired by a beautiful honor song my brother Vernon Primeaux gifted me last year to honor Elders who were interviewed at the Great Basin Indian Archive banquet in Elko, NV. I intend to keep it for the same honoring purpose as originally intended.

in the spring of 2011 i was fortunate to meet patrick gordon , and dene first nations road man. a peyote singer . he came to my studio to record an album. during the flow we became friends and i felt  gained his musical trust. at a point i asked if i could do a beat and bass fusion of one of the medicine songs and i was given permission. This song has so much power , i don't often include it in sets, but every once in a while its appropriate. i want to share this with you, its a work in progress, i spent a day working on it before sinixt barter fair 2011.  but in support of idle no more and the first nations wisdom. we need healing for our earth mother and i believe music is a big part of that ...
