Daisy Rascal

Pulling together strands of tenor saxophone and synth. with jazz bass elements and sporadic percussion hits. Tracks were all improvised but came together OK and sound vaguely arranged (in my head).
[Nothing to do with the TV drama 'Threads' where nuclear attack destroys my home city!]

La Mancha

Choppy seas, calm waters...the Cumbrian coast has its fair share. From the village of Seascale was noted the boat club pictured. The once next-door village of Windscale became known for its massive nuclear plant in the late '40s. Following a disastrous fire in 1957 (caused by uranium overheating)the plant was renamed Sellafield. The Windscale Boat Club however lives on.....
