Maybe D.I.O.R (Death Is Our Release) is my third project to be released since my deal signing. It’s also a staple because it’s my first project of 2024. A lot like the EP “Count Me In” which was released before my debut album “You’re The Problem” this project is very personal because I recorded, mixed, and mastered a good bit of it in house. With production from close homies as well like NumbaOne & Mike Vegas. Maybe D.I.O.R is a concept I came up with to sort of cap off the sad boy era of my music. In this project I go in depth about how I feel about life and death and the pain that lies within it all. I’ll still be vulnerable and emotional in my music moving forward but certain topics about gun violence and death I don’t necessarily want to speak about anymore. My last album had a bit of a dark feel, but moving forward in the new year and beyond I’d like to release music that has a much more positive feel even if the lyrics aren’t so positive maybe the tempo is sped up and it just feels better. This project has a lot of music that may have never come out if I didn’t release the project. Songs that I may be have forgotten about and some that I listen to on a daily, but didn’t know how to market it. I fell in love with the art of music not the art of marketing, so I’m proud to be able to feed you this music that.
