StereoLounge was the brain child of the late Paul O Donovan older brother to David O Donovan. Growing up with Pauls musical and artistic passion i decided i wanted to keep his legacy alive and so i have brought it on myself to continue his work and bring you all much much more... Labels include Variance, Variant Electronic, Deckheads Ireland, StereoLounge Records and more... theres lots in the pipeline so enjoy our sounds and passion for electronic music...

Inspired by my late brother Paul a.k.a Stereolounge i decided to get into music producing being a DJ from an early age i wanted to follow in my bros footsteps, so i decided to learn to produce sound and through our label I have learned how the game works. It's all developed from there so i hope you enjoy our sounds!!!! :-)

PAUL O’ DONOVAN A.K.A STEREOLOUNGE (1979 – 2007)
How do we introduce Paul? Without sounding cheesy, he was Rock and Roll. He seemed to be missing that little voice in the back of his head that makes the rest of us hold back from going that extra bit further he put 110% into his art and his music and was my main influence in life and into getting so obsessed with the music industry. At a very early age I used to help Paul create his music i used to have a huge passion and love for his creativity as i saw alot of him in myself. Unfortunately in the year 2007 at just 27 years of age Pauls life suddenly came to an end and so I made the decision to bring it upon myself to get his music and artwork known to as many people as I possibly could. I got together family and friends who agreed to help me with the project. Luckily one of Paul’s good friends was a graphic designer so she helped put together a cover for the CD which included his artwork, photos of family and friends, words written by him before he died and also words written about him. I got his music mastered and the fourteen track album produced by a recording studio in Dunmore East.

StereoLounge presents a commemorative CD inspired by his late brother Paul (who was the initial StereoLounge who sadly passed away).
StereoLounge decided to get into music production, DJ'ing from an early age, and also running multiple events, before this project he was producing under the pseudonyms Toxic DJs, and Deckheads.
StereoLounge wanted to celebrate his brothers life by continuing in his footsteps, and the result is this commendable and vastly varied CD, initially StereoLounge released it on his own label which is of the same name (StereoLounge Recordings). Already having considerable success with sales in Ireland, we at Variant Electronic are happy to contribute by selling a limited number of copies via our Bandcamp, and it's an honour for us to help him memorialise his late brother Paul.

New exciting project undertaken by StereoLounge is the Techno Ancestor Project - TAP for short. The darker side of StereoLounge. TAP That Records. In which the live performance will be mostly based around something a bit different.

Events nationwide & beyond with some of the biggest artists throughout the world. This is just the beginning. Paul's legacy is going to carry on. ;)
