The NFL may never get Jabari Nelson on the football field as a player but they can put him in the HALL OF FAME for inspiration and competitive desire to SURVIVE.

Dissatisfied with her corporate position, Denise wanted change and put it out to the UNIVERSE!  A friend suggested the Fire Department and Denise said "You can die from that!"  Well, yes, you can, but you can also die walking across the street!  Denise soon became her town's first female fire fighter and with 100% commitment and determination, she got past the hazing and became the fire house's diamond - strong under pressure, able to get in smaller places, and the Courage Whisperer!

Stand Up & Speak Up with host Debby Montgomery Johnson and special guest, Flavia Powell, from Norwich, UK.  Flavia grew up in Romania with outhouses and sunflower toilet "paper"  - smooth as a babies' behind!  She flittered about "carefree" while living in a home filled with stress and abuse.  She was taken away from communism to a promised life in the UK where university and living expenses were to be taken care of by her "guardian angel."  That "angel" groomed her to take care of HIS "needs" and when she realized her ideal life was less than ideal and wanted to leave, she was cut off and put out.  Flavia's story wasn't told until she was grown up yet the trauma came out again when she wrote her story in Notes To My Younger Self, Vol 2, in the Pay It Forward Series.  She and Debby are "book sisters" and both live with knowing their "stories" were meant to be told to help one "sister" in the world and they have.

Itty Bitty™ Is A BIG Thing!

"The Call" came from David Medansky's doctor.  "You have a 95% chance of having a heart attack. You must lose 50 pounds or you will die.  You have two choices now.  Either lose the weight or get another doctor."
OMG.  What's a guy to do?
Fortunately David did what he "should do" and he lost the 50 pounds.  My late husband didn't heed the call and he passed away from a massive heart attack at age 55.  
Have you lost 50 pounds only to have "found" them again the next year?  What does drinking water have to do with a lifestyle change?  Anyone in your family die of a heart attack due to diabetes or excessive weight.  
Have you tried and failed at every diet and weight loss program you've attempted?  David says the average person has tried 126 diets over his lifetime and we've lost the same 10 pounds over and over.  If diets and weight loss programs REALLY worked, then all the companies making $$ would be out of business.

6.  Sleep more

9.  Walk every day
