Amine Edge is a DJ with a keen nose for a killer tune. As a producer, he's delivered classics; as a label owner (with CUFF), he's been supplying DJs with cooking content since 2014. One of his latest discoveries is TAD, a Parisian producer. This year's CUFF release, "Places", is a superb slice of tech house with a bouncy bassline and clever hooks. Despite his relative anonymity within the DJ community, it went straight onto the playlists of Jen Payne and Kevin McKay. Kevin then contacted him for a GU release, and "Be Mine" resulted. Road-tested at Kevin's recent Fire show, this mix of razor-sharp rhythms and bubbling bass smashed the floor at London's premier 6 am party zone. It's a banger.
