Hello everyone,

Many of you probably know this feeling. You start making music and completely lose track of time. The hours fly by, and suddenly it's late in the evening or even nighttime. I wanted to capture this theme in a lighthearted and humorous way.

I'm really happy that I was able to produce this song together with Mike Fox. Mike liked my idea for the arrangement and lyrics right away, and he was immediately on board. How much we appreciate each other can definitely be heard in the lyrics.

For this song, we were also able to bring in two guest singers—but just listen for yourselves! What they sing is probably something everyone in a relationship has heard at some point – or am I wrong?

Mike and I certainly hear it very, very often! 😆

now you gotta ask what kind of person
would feel the need on their Australian excursion
to take a baby wombat from it's mother

poor little wombat minding it's young
when out of the car jumps some influencing fuck 
and screams oh my god, check out the beaver

it's not a beaver, it's a wombat you knob
you couldn't influence a fart, go and get a real job
but don't be a vet, cos clearly you don't like wombats

hold it up and says take a picture
and take one of the mom while she's having a seizure
so all my animal hating friends back home can have a laugh

maybe you like strangling budgies too
like that bald fella back in the 80s use to do
 yea he killed his brother, but they said he was an animal lover

don't know what was going on inside her head
oh yea thats right, it's called brain dead
guess it turned off the notifications

traumatizing little animals to get some clout
run them over in your tesla post it to your X account
and in your whiny little voice scream oh my god out loud again

our county has never been more divided
but there's some things that keep us united
you can tariff our arses……but leave our wombats alone
