In honour of two great Londoners Bill Paul and Roy McDonald, we are have gone into the archives and are pleased to share with you their stories from AlvegoRoot's 2015 Story Evening.

The trees of London Ontario have stories in and around their bark and branches, so the Cambium Playwrights Unit went exploring and creating. Through a six week educational workshop, led by Adam Corrigan Holowitz, each playwright created a monodrama inspired in some way by the tree they picked as their creative focal point. In this audio production, members of the AlvegoRoot ensemble give voice to these new monodramas. 

Cambium:
The cambium is a growth layer of the tree making new cells during the growing season. The cambium is what makes the trunk, branches and roots grow thicker.

Tinkerspace Theatre’s original production of Goodnight Spaceman is an audio drama, based on Erin J. Walker’s 2017 Brickenden Award winning play My Name is Spaceman.
