Itomori is the softest song on Midnight Sun, and takes its name from a fictional town in the Japanese animated feature film Your Name. Both works explore feelings of longing and loss by two characters separated by distance, time, and fate ; in the case of Itomori, the song details the experience of losing one’s first love. Telling the story of the journey from heartbreak to acceptance, Itomori is about wanting the best for those we’ve parted ways with, even if that means we can no longer be a part of their lives.

Leap of Faith represents a shift in the tonal arc of Midnight Sun, transforming the emotional & heavy themes of the first phase of the EP into a deeper meditation on self love, and the wisdom to be gained through trust in yourself, and the universe of which you are an inseparable part. This song is intended as both an interlude, and a perspective check for anyone feeling lost, stuck or alone - what you are seeking is, and always has been, within you.

Star’s End is the longest and most sonically diverse track of Intrøspect’s entire discography to date, and tells the story of spiritual awakening and enlightenment - finding a deeper purpose in the creative process of transforming life experience into beauty through art.
