Overlord has finally received its fourth season, which is great since I'm a big fan of the novels. Just like Re: Zero, the anime for Overlord is basically synonymous with Mayu Maeshima (a.k.a MYTH & ROID in the past) so I wanted to cover at least one of her songs from the series. I'm planning on putting out at least two more covers before the month ends when Xenoblade 3 comes out and I inevitably lose all productivity, so as always look forward to it!

An orchestral arrangement of "Hope" by Namie Amuro, from the series One Piece.

Finally got around to making something from One Piece, which is somewhat fitting considering that it recently aired its 1000th episode. This decades long journey might be close to finishing (relative to its total runtime at least), but I intend to enjoy every moment while it lasts. Luckily, Toei has been making that pretty easy with how phenomenal the Wano adaptation has been so far. As for the cover, I actually got stuck quite a few times while making this so it took a bit longer to make than I wanted it to. I knew I wanted to include Fight Together in some way shape or form since it's the other One Piece opening by Namie Amuro but for some reason I just couldn't translate it to 3/4 for the life of me. Ultimately though, after much trial and tribulation, I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with the final product here. Enjoy!

Lack of uploads recently since I've been busy...playing Pokemon and SMTV. And exams, but mainly the first two. I will, however, have a surplus of free time soon so expect at least 3 or 4 more covers by the end of the month. As for the cover, I'm pretty satisfied with this one. Re:Zero is the GOAT so I really didn't want to slack off while writing this. Behind the incredible writing, the plot twists and turns, and Otto being best boy, Re:Zero is a story about people learning to love themselves.

Oh Fate/Grand Order... why must I love and hate you at the same time? Fate/Grand Order is a game that I've dropped more than a handful of times because it's such a goddamn chore to play, and yet in true Al Pacino fashion I always find myself being dragged back in every time a new Lostbelt releases because this story really is well and truly worth it. I also love this song in particular; I thought the first two theme songs for the game, Shikisai and Gyakko, were sort of meh, but this song combined with the sheer visual spectacle of Muramasa cutting a mountain in half so cleanly that it turned into a mirror made me cry.

Another re-upload. It physically hurt me to take down the original since it was my only video with more than 1k views, so here's hoping this one does well too... More importantly, it's fitting that I would upload this now considering how the TV version of Infinity Training is currently airing and season 2 is right around the corner. Excited to see Tengen animated in all of that sweet, savory Ufotable eye candy.

Another re-upload here. Ironically, despite this being the first cover that I ever made I consider it to be one of my best. At risk of tooting my own horn, I especially love the transition between the two songs; I'm considering making more medleys like this one where the songs are clearly divided rather than sort of fused together like in my Bungou Stray Dogs cover just because making transitions is fun. Also, I actually haven't played Persona 5 myself since I don't have a Playstation (Atlus, can we get that goddamn PC port already?) but I've watched excessive amounts of clips from it on Youtube and played Strikers. Hopefully SMT V can scratch that demon-befriending itch that I never got to satisfy.

An orchestral arrangement of "Lily" and "Kaze ga Fuku Machi" (City Where Wind Blows) by Luck Life, from the series Bungou Stray Dogs.

I've decided that my usual format of naming these medley type covers where I just say "Song 1/Song 2" doesn't really look visually appealing so I've taken to just giving them original names instead, hence "To the Stray Dogs." Bungou Stray Dogs is something of a personal favorite series of mine since while it certainly has its flaws, the characters feel incredibly human and I adore their designs. I also love "Kaze ga Fuku Machi" a ton since it encapsulates the relationship Dazai and Odasaku, so I opted to cover the endings instead of the opening this time around.

The first of a long series of re-uploads of previous covers. Wanted to use the new editing style plus give each of them a comb-over, although I honestly barely changed anything at all for this one outside of some slight re-mastering. My statement in the original upload that Eve is physically incapable of producing anything but literal bangers still stands.

Holy crap, we've gotten more than 100 subscribers since the last upload. It's certainly not much in the grand scheme of things, but for someone who was recently only in the double digits it suddenly feels like the world is watching. At the same time, it's nice to know that their are people who enjoy my covers enough to want to stick around; here's to many more!
On a different note, the original song for this cover, White Midnight, might be my favorite song of all time. The chorus just hits different, and those double key changes? *chef's kiss* Many thanks to Alchemy Stars for introducing me to Reol as well as just being a pretty great game in general, at least as far as gacha games go. I'm also planning on re-uploading all of my previous covers with the editing style used in this one, so look forward to that.

More Bocchi because I'm still enjoying these bangers immensely and I don't really know what else to cover at the moment. I'm also currently on break so expect a few weekly uploads instead of bi-weekly!

So I said last week that I was done covering songs from this anime season, but obviously that turned out to be a lie since I somehow completely forgot to do anything from Chainsaw Man. There were a ton of songs to choose from here what with the whole 12 different endings thing that Chainsaw Man has going on (I was going to do VIOLENCE at first) but I ultimately decided on KICK BACK since it definitely encapsulates Chainsaw Man as a series the best. You know, by being batshit insane. No seriously, by writing this song Kenshi and King Gnu have very clearly demonstrated that they have more than a few screws loose in the absolute best way possible. They've both come out with more than a few bangers, but nothing they've written really comes close to the absolute, unhinged chaos that is KICK BACK.
