This track is a tribute to Mr. Spaeth, the greatest band teacher known to man. Musically speaking, the song itself was primarily inspired by All Falls Down by Kanye West as well as Godzilla by Eminem.

Mr. Spaeth is a teacher at Rock Bridge High School.
He only teaches band but that’s alright though.
The band kids worship him like the twelve disciples
In the Holy Bible and it’s really psycho. 
He dedicated his life to helping kids like me and Michael
To hit those music notes like a sniper rifle.
Gigachad of gigachads, that is his title.

We got trombones, flutes, clarinets, and trumpets,
Tubas, bassoons, and also percussion.
Now I know that there are more but you know what, you can suck it

Now the thing about Spaeth is that he teaches them all, 
The high and the low, the big and the small,
With the help of Mr. Sullivan cause if you recall,
They've got a lot of kids to herd especially during football.

So the trombone players are obnoxious, you see. 
But they still make fun of the trumpets for their stupidity.
The flutes never misbehave which I can understand. 
The clarinets are fairly normal and the trumpets get slammed
by every single person in the freaking class 
Because we have big egos and we play like ass.
Now being a trumpet player myself, I never understood 
Why we’re considered bad and everyone else is good.

Ok, you know what? It’s story time. 
It was around 2:25. 
I was in the band room, I had just arrived. 
I went to my locker and I reached inside
and I got my trumpet out of its case. 
But I did it slowly ‘cause it’s not a race.
After that, I stuck my trumpet in my face 
And I started playing scales I could play for days.
I can play a B flat double octave 
Which is C natural if we’re not in concert 
But I can’t play a triple yet. Gotta unlock it. 
But I got a set of lungs that are like rockets. 
It’s kind of a requirement if you play brass 
‘Cause you know very well the entire class 
Is counting on you to perform the task 
Of playing the loudest. That’s a fact.

I was a sophomore when I came to Rock Bridge. Skipped my freshman year because of Covid. It was catastrophic. 
Tragic things have happened. Now we have vaccines so we can stop it. When it comes to Covid-19, Pfizer and Moderna block it. 
Wouldn’t recommend taking the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson. Anyway, I think I may have gotten slightly off the topic. 
We were talkin’ bout how I was in 10th when I came to Rock Bridge. That was also the year that I met Anthony Wu-

So you can’t blame when I’m out on the field during rehearsal getting slightly bored
And at the same time, there are like 50 veterans, I don’t know, there might be more
And a lot of ‘em don’t know me but I gotta show ‘em that I’m in this with ‘em
But I’ve gotten out of line with the band so many times I can’t even list ‘em
And every time I get out of line I’m afraid that I’m gonna mess up the system
But I promise I’m honestly tryna cooperate, I’m not against ‘em
Know that I’m on their side ‘cause music has always been huge in my circle of passion
