This is a song I wrote during the pandemic in 2020. I lost my job, and it became increasingly difficult to focus on music. To say that I was freaking out about finances would be an understatement... I was so stressed out at the time, that I didn't even want to take the time to make music. My girlfriend was doing quite the polar opposite. She didn't get laid off from her job, and she was working full-time, doing great. I felt like I was letting her down, and I really didn't feel like I was the man I wanted to be for her. She carried me, and made sure that my mental health was intact during this difficult time. She encouraged me to keep writing even though I didn't feel like it. So i honestly wrote exactly what I was feeling. That I wasn't feeling music. and this is how it turned out. I hope you guys enjoy this song. If any of you guys are going through a tough time, take a deep breath, focus your energy on the things you have control over, and be positive! You'll conquer your obstacle if you don't give up I promise.

Hi everyone. This month I'm bring you the lo-fi vibes! This song is about the clash between being emotional, and being logical that my girlfriend and I often argue about. Through writing this song, it made me realize that people deal with problems in their own way. One may be more logical, while the other may be more emotional. It's hard not to view yourself as the default and correct perspective, but I constantly have to remind myself that everyone's different. And yes, that's inconvenient... but maybe there is also a beauty in that difference. The next time you don't understand someone. Try to tell yourself that it's absolutely okay. I wrote this song with that vulnerable feeling in mind. You wish you didn't miss them and that you truly were great moving on, but sometimes that is not always the case. This song is about the immense pressure I feel everyday. The pressure to succeed. To accomplish my dreams. To be everything that I promised my mom I would be. My mom doesn't have the best health, so I HAVE to accomplish it as soon as possible. Because her witnessing the accomplishments of my dreams is my actual, true dream. I want so bad for her to be proud of me, and sometimes I let that desire push me to an unhealthy place of stress. I wrote this song in one of those moments. This one is dedicated to my mom. I had already planned to move to L.A. immediately after I graduated from Arizona State University (shoutout to the sun devils!). I was completely blindsided when my ex dumped me. Sure I knew that things weren't perfect and we had a lot of incompatible parts about ourselves.... But it never occurred to me that breaking up was the answer. Probably my fault for being so naive. This was my first relationship, so just giving up and breaking up wasn't even in my thought process. I figured relationships are tough, and this is just a hill we would have to conquer together. When she dumped me, it completely crushed me.
