COVID impacted many organisations including Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington where in-person classes had to be replaced with online. Wanaka-born professional skier Finn Bilous was one of these students, trapped overseas competing he was able to continue his graphic design courses online. His professor, Zach Dodson, had worked to film his hilarious lectures against a green screen full of laser beams and memes.  The campus is now back to face-to-face study, but over 650 students from 30 countries still log-in to learn thanks to faculty dedication to delivering compelling education regardless of format.

Elena helps teachers to work smarter, less, with more satisfaction, and get paid well for their work. She’s originally from Ukraine and started teaching online back in 2008. Two years later, she moved to the US and continued teaching online after work.

In the first six months, Elena became incredibly busy, mainly gaining clients through worth of mouth. The problem with her online teaching job, however, was that it wasn’t very stable. Some months were super busy, but she hardly taught at all during the months of December and January. 

Her students were mainly Russian speakers, and when that market collapsed in 2014, she needed to look for other ways to continue her online teaching business. That’s when she started offering accent training to students in other markets, and she also started helping other teachers to work smarter.

من أهم الأساليب التي تنصح متابعيها هو أسلوب الشادوينغ (التقليد) ويكون عن طريق تقليد ما يقول المتكلم في نفس اللحظة مع محاولة تقليد النبرة ، وارتفاع الصوت وانخفاضه ولا بأس من تفويت بعض الجمل 

ومن المهم جداً اختيار مقطع مناسب عند التطبيق بحيث يكون المستوى مناسب ولا يسبب ملل للمستمع.
