For years there's been a yarn surrounding the town of Tennant Creek.

You see, the town is built on kind of a weird spot.

The telegraph station is North of the township - as is the literal creek itself.

So the tale went that when a beer truck broke down down the way, people just uprooted and moved to be near the truck.

David Garnham has spent plenty of time in Tennant over the years, and thought the imaginative narrative perfect fodder for his new country rock single 'TFC'.

The 'T' and the 'C' stands for Tennant Creek, we'll let a local tell you what the 'F' stands for.

Produced by Ben Allen (BROADWING), mastered by Steve Smart @ Studios 301, the track is the third single to come from the concept album 'the Stuart Highway part 1' due out July 14th.
