Verse 48. Dialectic works from the known to the unknown. Make steady strides to recognize the difference and sameness of things in nature, then the difference and sameness within yourself, then the sameness of your subsistence removed from all difference, one who abides always in the sameness of their essence is self-realized.

Verse 51. When setting out to accomplish some task, always begin by offering up the actions of the divine. If an action finishes favorably, offer a part of the fruit of it to other beings in some way. If an action finishes unfavorably, remind yourself the providence works according to a greater good than your work and to a greater end than yours.

Verse 56: To gain some mastery over the five senses, learn to separate them from each other one by one and then put them back together again in various combinations. And this way you'll demonstrate your control over them and gradually wean the mind off their influence.
