The artists with this power are a rare breed, and in a time when lack of creativity dulls our genre, Big Willie light shines brighter than ever. Willie Murphy, a.k.a. Big Willie, possesses that power to push the entire genre into a higher level. Big Willie resides Tampa Florida. It was destined that one day that the name was going to be a power image to the industry. At the tender age, Willie Murphy started to mold himself as a producer by making beats, also known as Instrumentals. As times grew and he got older, people heard the producer and artist(s) he was and gave him his name which is now known as Big Willie. Big Willie had plenty of family support, so with that kept in mind, the persuasion of his own heart, and some important figures in his life, he turned to music. Willie Murphy developed a love for it at a young age and decided it was a great way to keep his mind busy and focused. In his later teens he began making music on his own from Rap to Pop to R&B. Unable to find other producers to furnish his vocals, he took it upon himself, with his training and natural talent, to produce his own music.
