680 "illegal" immigrants were arrested in Mississippi poultry plants within the past few years in largest ICE roundup in U.S. history.  The fact is there are over 12 million illegal immigrants and the politicians don't know what to do.  This is song is from a father's perspective. Heartbreaking to watch so many families and children displaced and killed by the war in Ukraine.  I keep seeing little kids with cute knit caps to keep them warm, kittens, puppy dogs.  They kiss their Dad's goodbye and leave with their Moms, going who knows where.  The rest of the world prays for them, imposes partial sanctions and dares not stand up militarily to a villain who terrorizes the world with threats of nuclear war.  Enough!

This song captures the moment you wake up beside the one you love, under perfect covers in the "cool gray light of morning" knowing that "It won't get no better Baby than lying here with you."  Its a fingerstyle love song.

This planet eludes us as it hides behind cell phone screens, an incredible feat.  High strung guitar backs up folk vocals answering the age old question:  "if a tree fell in the forest but it didn't show up on Facebook" did it really fall? Ha!
