I wrote this song during the pandemic and it's very much a double entendre kind of song, one is a murder/mystery in the winter and another being a woman's heart turning cold throughout the years and dreaming of ways of killing her husband! Don't tell me you women haven't thought about that at one time or another! (just kidding, I hope!)😂  It's the other side of the coin to "Sweet Dreams". It reflects that a heart can be warm, gentle, loving, and forgiving on the one hand but another heart can be cold, cruel, wicked, and hateful! Both songs and videos were made to be seen together as one, that's why I put them back to back bridging last year with this year! I have a very much warm and empathetic heart and feel sorry for those with a callous and cold heart. Without the video, I believe the song is very haunting but beautiful, with the video it becomes cold and cruel! Sorry about that and I hope I didn't offend anyone! Charlie sang the song very well and it's a very much keyboard driven song. Lot's of audio effects thrown in for fun. I hope everyone had a great Christmas & New Years! Now it's time to face that cold, cold, winter's heart! Stay warm!🥶🥶🥶

With the fall of the Assad regime, Syria is once again thrust into the international spotlight as new leadership takes hold promising much while its citizens took to the streets celebrating the ousting of Assad and now wait hopefully for positive change.  The country has been in a civil war of unspeakable cruelty since 2011. The swift changes have been on Peter's heart through the holiday season. It is a country, a land, and a culture that is deeply rooted in history going back over 10 millennia.  In many ways it is a cradle of Western civilization but its people are at a contemporary crossroads wanting what we have; peace, prosperity, civility, and freedom to determine their destiny as a nation.  This song addresses that hope, the first release of the year for our little international ensemble.

🤟🏼Working on new patterns and techniques in composition, production, and performance of both instrumental(classical/acoustic guitar) and voice- pieces are built (loops and beats)..on BandLab @nyla_k00  and Soundtrap (new)

TBH, I aspire to be a guitar 🎸 but I’ll settle for being able to play competently what I hear when I write...(one day, Alice...to the moon)

I study under Duncan L. Wood and am grateful for his guidance and patience. Most of my influences are Folk/Blues/Indie, but inspiration arrives in many forms so HT to Hip Hop, Rap, Classical, especially Chamber trios. Current tracks are first cuts and I may update them in the future with cleaner versions, thank you for listening as I learn.
