This story is not about Alice. Although, we've all had Alice in our lives. As well as the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and Jabberwock, in one form or another. This story is about you. This story is about me. 

These insane days I feel like more than ever I want to open some hidden hatch inside my piano to fall through a rabbit hole into a fantasy land, away from all the madness that I see around..

I composed "Winter Melancholy" and "Heart of Ice" almost in parallel. Somehow I found both melodies good and it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to name one of the two tracks "Heart of Ice". I hope I was able to musically express the coldness of an ice heart with my piano playing ...
