This one pushes the meager limits of the Spire Studio which I presently use for these "practice tracks". That sound you might not be able to identify on the descending chord progression in the middle and at the end is a four-hole Mexican ocarina in the shape of turtle ;-)

Remembrance

For a short while I played with two dear departed friends in a group we called the Quantum Cats. This is a beautiful and simple song from Eric Butz (tragic sufferer of Werner's Syndrome) whose raspy voice is heard here along with the late great John Gorozdos on banjo. A real rarity from me playing harmonica on this track.  Recorded live by Edward Bradshaw (USCG) on his reel-to-reel in 1995.
