VOLUME WARNING FOR THE END OF THE TRACK. TURN DOWN THE VOLUME A BIT AROUND THE 1:30 MARK. The nigh-clipping is very much intentional, but I don't want to give anyone hearing damage if I can avoid it. Should I have avoided clipping? Maybe, but I think it helps deliver the mashup's intended feel a lil' better than if it were perfectly mixed. Also, I can't mix for my life, use Audacity, and make all of my mashups using a USB steering wheel, so cruddy mixing is sort of unavoidable. (Two truths and a lie, there - I'll let you tease out which is which.)

Also, if you're curious who "SoundSmith" is, they're a content creator that I've watched on and off for a long while (going on six years now). I made that sign a long time ago, when I still played TF2, and I really did have high hopes of getting to show it to them in game. I'm not sure if I succeeded, since they use an alias in-game, but now I can be absolutely sure of it!  Or, at the very least, I can give myself another chance to share it with them. And, failing that, I at least get to show it off to all of you. The joke on the sign is based on an old channel meme that has long since been forgotten, but I think it's still funny as a period piece of internet-dom.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I started out a couple of years back. This project has greatly exceeded my expectations - even if the quality of my work has sometimes not. You're all great, and I appreciate your patronage and support for this silly little stuff I make. Whether or not 100k plays is a big milestone in terms of the grander content creator scheme is, frankly, kinda irrelevant. I made it here fair and square, and that's something!

Also, if you want to know the way to my heart, make ABBA posts. Even though their vocals are mixed to quietly for my tastes, I am an absolute sucker for ABBA. Maybe that means I have poor taste, I don't know, but that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if it means I'm having fun and enjoying music/life.
