can anyone do what is asked
Can you tell the fans that you have not answers
for screaming questions from their victim hearts
Do you have salvation in the Key of G
or do melodies of hope in C suffice
Who is the one who can help every and all
Ageing is the Savior you thought you were, blind in your prime
Knowing your fans lives are limited
how many times can you feed yourself shrimp
You are not able to live up to the God status your fame suggests
not in a world with racism, lies, sickness and war
The fans expect you as their guide, to make them strong
yet knife dragged across your skin hurts the same as anyone else
Warning words you weave, focused they are on rhyming's metaphor

Great Leonardo of the past hid within works messages
A voice told me they once held Leonardo hostage
claiming it was the protection of greater good
Locked in a tower with only meals, blank canvas, paper, ink and pen
Madness of his captivity was only bearable when he invent and create
Maybe then the Mona Lisa was a typical normal woman
for his captive fantasy just wanted something simple and free
Next time you think of Heroes remember they hurt too
Some suffer in the madness of the things they know and can’t address
While others are censored as might rebellion not ensue
These players of industries are still just pawns kept busy in the game
You'll now understand why most of the Great People have a spiral down
Not because they couldn't make you smile; they couldn't take away your frown
