This is my first track ever - I've been looking and reading up on tutorials and wanted to practice my first lofi song! 

So please keep that in mind, I know it's not the best, but I think I did an okay job <3

Small inspiration: I called it in and out of consciousness because the song feels soft, then awake at times, then soft again.

Second Track Ever!

I wanted to channel a feeling I've had and I know other's have too.

It's that feeling of loss when you're not ready. Or that feeling of yearning for love but not receiving it. Finding someone to reflect back your feelings is always hard, and sometimes it's easier to pretend something is there. Something is still there. Or even if they fake their feelings at least it's there while you're trying to move on and grow.

I decided to voice act the poem from 10 things I hate about you too cause I want to practice voicework with emotion <3

Pretend That You Love Me (Hate About You)

I kinda wanted to give a happier song a try! Kinda like a playful happy. When we're kids, we always grabbed our boots and splashed in puddles and had a good time. I kinda wanted to take that playfulness and apply it to as we're older. Remind ourselves to be playful and jump for it! 

Sometimes with this song, I do get the feel of "finding a silver lining in the sad feels. Or being okay where you are right now. Sure its cloudy. Sure you're crying. But go jump in that puddle of tears! There's hope somewhere amongst these puddles <3"
