He launched the Monthly Darkness podcast series in 2020, promoting the newest releases and forthcoming tracks.

Our final set of the night at our first iteration of The Darkside featured a B2B. between talented Danish producer Neumann with KOZY, head honcho of Montreal-based psytech event production company AlpaKa Productions and music label AlpaKa MuziK. These two had a instant symbiosis behind the decks, which was fantastic to behold, especially considering it was their first ever B2B!

When Neumann gets behind the decks or creates in the studio, one can expect dark grooving techno with a twist of psy and melancholic melodies. With recent releases on Kellerhobel, Music4Aliens and Shadow Wulf, he is making serious waves in the global dark techno community. In Sept 2022 his first solo EP on Shadow Wulf -- Watching You debuted.

KOZY is one of the leading tastemakers in dark & groovy underground techno music and his focus and vision for bringing these sounds to North America is the solid foundation on which his reputation has been built. Just like our SW founders, KOZY balances his efforts in AlpaKa, supporting others’ music, with his own music. KOZY's dedication to music is evident in his tight mixes, solid track selection and inclination towards groovy synths and heavy, disruptive bass.

DAVID PHOENIX is the alias of Hungarian DJ & Producer David Janecska, an artist whose career within electronic music spans two decades and a multitude of genres. In 2003, David began to make his first forays into music production, experimenting with a variety of styles that drew influence from the blistering sounds of breakbeat and techno that were popular at the time.
