A guitar string placed under a magnetic field, a spring rubbed by a bow, a
circuit-bended radio, some water inside the metal envelop of a waterphone, all
those elements, those concrete sounds have this common faculty, to last, to
vibrate in the time, to enter in "resonance".
Chosen for this specificity and the quality of their textures, they are thus
placing this phenomenon in the center of the piece.
This research about resonances can be understood at different level and is also to be seen in its structural aspect.
Indeed,   it   has   been   thought   as   a   dialogue,   an   oscillation   between   two antagonists entities, an electronic part and an analogic one formed by those concrete elements.
This   oscillation   is   meant   to   finally   create   a   synergy   where   the   two   are absorbing and restoring the energy of each other, to finally almost merge at some points.
This piece falls within the continuity of their previous one « Flux », it's a
reflection about the forces underlying our world and our way to be in it, with it.
It's a trial to account on this vibration that seems to sustain and to rattle the
life, on this kind of metaphysical wave that one has to ride to be part of the
flux, this almost magical power that occurs and gets amplified when energies
meet and share. It's maybe only a humble attempt to show that the whole is always more than the simple sum of its parts.

Resonances (Sound Installation)

Sound installation realized for the Ohrenhoch Gallery, Berlin (2017) 

« The Flux » is a sound installation which investigates the new process ontology in its relation with the environment and urban space. 
It’s a proposal to be active in front of of our surrounding sounds, to use them, arrange them to create an universe, a language transcending the here and the now. It’s a political and public-spirited action to reclaim our cities, our right to change and intervene on them. A request to be conscious to be part of the public space, to decide and to actively take part in its structuring.

This piece is a mix of field recordings, electronic music and real instruments. The recordings inside the metro stations which are to hear at the beginning and at the end are the symbols of the fluidity and non-fixity, the melting of times and of times and spaces, which are sustaining our modern society.
There is no more absolute, no more here, and no more now. Urban space is only a sequence of transitions, a succession of non-places, which quickly disappear from the mind of who passes through them. Sounds are events arising and disappearing and human beings are part of this flux, as listeners and as makers, depositories of this process.
